Tell us about your education and experience.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Sciences with concentrations in Human Resource Management and Public Service Management. I have been working for over 20 years in different industries such as Tourism, Public Service and Finance.

What is exciting for you at HGS?

HGS is multicultural, and that is hugely stimulating. We have many talented and interesting employees here. It makes for an environment where you are continually learning. In my role, I think finding a solution to complicated issues is exciting. While the challenge is rewarding enough, I also I enjoy interacting with customers and finishing my daily tasks.

How has the journey been so far?

There is plenty to learn here. I started out as a bilingual consumer service advisor and then got promoted to the role of performance coach. Working at HGS has given me the opportunity to gain insight into customer care and management. Additionally, it’s a relaxed environment with great colleagues here.

How To Be A Great Team Player

Of all the skills that are must-haves in customer service, teamwork tops the list. The straightforward logic is that one individual alone cannot handle over-all and end-to-end customer service. So, if a team were to manage customers, each member needs to be thinking similarly. Only team-players are flexible enough to understand the larger goal and ensure they are contributing in their capacity to achieving it. Teamwork is the best method to accomplish another crucial necessity for top-notch customer service: consistency.

Tell us about your education & experience.

I am an Arts graduate, with an overall experience of 12 years in the customer service industry. Of the 12 years, I have been working in training for 10.5 years with giant players of telecom and non-telecom. I’ve been with HGS for the past five years now.
