How has the journey been so far?

My team here is brilliant. When it comes to working, teammates are helpful and motivating. Even outside of work, we have an excellent dynamic, so we spend a fair amount of time socialising, as well. HGS is a fun, multicultural work environment and I think this enables us to learn a lot from each other.

What inspires you at work every day?

Ali S is one of our customer service advisors in HGS-UK. He has been with us for nearly two years now. He shares with us his HGS story.

How has the journey been so far?

I have been able to develop more skills than the ones I had when I first joined. For example, I have learnt how to run a shift. So, it has been an enriching work experience.

What motivates you every day at work?

Being able to achieve my targets is my biggest motivator. You are competing with yourself every day, so it's a sure way to improve.

Paul B is one of our customer service advisors, based in the UK. He shares with us the advantages of working in the HGS environment.

What has struck you the most about HGS?

HGS has a diverse workforce. People working here are from a variety of backgrounds and life/work experiences. So, there is always something new to learn from everyone. The work and the people add up to an exciting working experience. Even though we all have the same role, what we bring to the table is so different from one person to the next.

Tell us about your education and experience.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Sciences with concentrations in Human Resource Management and Public Service Management. I have been working for over 20 years in different industries such as Tourism, Public Service and Finance.

What is exciting for you at HGS?

HGS is multicultural, and that is hugely stimulating. We have many talented and interesting employees here. It makes for an environment where you are continually learning. In my role, I think finding a solution to complicated issues is exciting. While the challenge is rewarding enough, I also I enjoy interacting with customers and finishing my daily tasks.

How has the journey been so far?

There is plenty to learn here. I started out as a bilingual consumer service advisor and then got promoted to the role of performance coach. Working at HGS has given me the opportunity to gain insight into customer care and management. Additionally, it’s a relaxed environment with great colleagues here.
