What motivates you every day?

I’m motivated to learn new things constantly. I’m also working hard to be promoted, which I’m sure will happen if I’m consistently performing well. Team-mates and superiors are quite supportive of your ambition.

Rashema Gonzales-Bennett is one of our Learning & Development Officers at HGS Jamaica. Her daughter, Ramarla Bennett, recently completed the GSAT exams, graduating from St. Catherine’s Preparatory School.

Noelicia O’Meally is one of our customer service representatives in HGS Jamaica. She has been with us for nearly three years now. She shares with us her experience of working with HGS.

What motivates you every day at work?

Being able to interact with my team, and assist them and our clients is a big booster at work. You feel fired up to push your limit higher than past performances. Our clients give us a lot of positive reinforcement for this, as well.

What do you like the most about HGS?

Nakeita Clarke is one of our team leads in HGS Jamaica. She has been with us for over three years now. She shares with us her HGS story.

What motivates you every day at work?

My agents are my daily motivation. Helping them achieve their personal goals and being successful as a team is the best part of my job.

Laurie Daley is a customer service associate with one of our healthcare accounts in HGS Jamaica. Her daughter, Knakeda, recently completed her GSAT exams and graduated from Excelsior Primary School.

Tell us about your education and experience in recruiting.

I have an Associate Degree in General Studies and a Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management. Before working at HGS, I was employed to Xerox [Conduent] as a recruiting intern which pretty much gave me my break in Recruiting.

What are some must-have qualities you look for in candidates applying to HGS?

Tell us about your education and experience.

I am pursuing an Associate Degree in Marketing. The bulk of my recruiting experience has been with HGS and I have been in this role for over a year now. I consider myself the gate keeper as I am the first point of contact for most, if not all candidates. It’s a good feeling.

How has the journey been so far?

Among all our priorities in life, health is always something that we are guilty of pushing to the backseat. However, it is necessary to understand that without good health, none of our other priorities would matter. Without health, work, targets and other critical aspects of life cease to hold meaning. Today, with our busy lives and schedules, keeping good health requires us to invest time and energy on a regular basis.
