What inspires you at work every day?

That’s easy. Meeting my goals, and ensuring my team, my manager and my clients are satisfied. I would say doing good work creates the cycle for continued motivation.

1. Tell us about your education and experience in recruiting.

My education background includes an Associate Degree in Business Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management (with a minor in Marketing). Prior to working at HGS, I was a home country recruiter and liaison for an overseas-based company in Alabama. The knowledge I gained working overseas has directly benefited my current role as a recruiter here at HGS.

Trudi-Ann Cole is one of our customer service associates with HGS Jamaica. Her daughter, Sheannelle, recently completed her GSAT exams, graduating from St. Thomas Hill View Kindergarten & Preparatory School.

Saarah Brown is a Team Lead with HGS-Jamaica. She has been with us for around two and a half years now. She shares with us what she likes the most about working with HGS.

How has the journey been so far?

Great! I started out as a customer support representative. Later, I served as a subject-matter expert, and currently, I’m a Team Lead for one of our operations.

What is something that motivates you every day?

Self-actualization. I want to be the best version of myself, and I work towards that every day.
