Quezon City, Philippines – Our CSR event for Wellness dubbed, “The One HGS FunDay 2018”, united over 1,500 employee runners and their families in this city’s famous university academic oval on March 18, 2018. Participants ran 2.2kms, 4.4 km, or 8.8km in support of their wellness advocacy.

1. Tell us about your education and experience.

I’m a graduate of Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, with major in Human Resource Development Management. After graduation, I joined HGS as a sourcing associate for nine months, and I'm currently working here as a specialist in recruitment.

I have a degree in development communication from West Visayas State University. I have been working in recruitment for over two years now.

What are some must-have qualities you look for in candidates applying to HGS?

In my candidates, I look for excellent communication skills, determination to work and be a part of a team, and a knack for handling people.

Of all the skills that are must-haves in customer service, teamwork tops the list. The straightforward logic is that one individual alone cannot handle overall and end-to-end customer service. So, if a team were to manage customers, each member needs to be thinking similarly. Only team players are flexible enough to understand the larger goal and ensure they are contributing in their capacity to achieve it.
