  1. Please tell us about yourself and your experience so far as a recruiter?

    My name is Dianne Foster, and I have been working with HGS for 5+ years. I started out at an /entry level position in recruiter and have been able to expand my knowledge and move up within my department. With the help of my supervisors and managers I have been able to improve my skills.

  2. What are some must-have qualities you look for in candidates applying to HGS?

    We are looking for adaptability. In a BPO organization this are always changing depending on the clients needs. We look for people who are able to work with a changing environment. We also look for patience. Customers are not always happy when the call in and you must be able to stay calm and be patient with them while they are going over their issue or concerns.

  3. What is a question you never miss asking?

    I never miss asking them what they enjoyed about their last job/position. I am always looking to see what they liked about previous positions to see if we have the same qualities here they would like

  4. What would be your pro tip for applicants?

    Be confident and clam during your interview. We will ask a variety of questions, try not to get frazzled. If you do not fully understand the questions, we are able to repeat it. Better to know the question you are trying to answer then guessing what we are asking.

  5. What aspect of the HGS culture do you share with your candidates?

    I like to share the communication aspect we have here. There is always communication between agents, team leaders, and management. If you have questions, always ask. We do our best to answer everything you have and if we don’t have the answer, we make sure to get you to someone who do. As well as the internal options for improvements. HSG loves to promote within, so if you are looking to become a trainer, team lead, quality auditor, etc., we have it listed on our internal job boards. We always like to look internally first, before we hire externally.
