What is the greatest lesson in leadership that you’ve learnt at HGS?

One of the most valuable lessons I've learned is that leadership is not just about giving direction. It's about building trust and creating an environment where people feel supported and motivated. Listening to your team, understanding their challenges, and celebrating their wins go a long way in driving performance. At HGS, I’ve realized that empathy and accountability must go hand in hand to lead effectively.

What are factors at HGS that have helped you in your career journey?

Even though I just recently starting my journey here, HGS has given me opportunities to learn and grow through hands-on experience and strong mentorship by my support like OM Ogie and SOM Gembie and my other colleagues. The collaborative culture here makes it easy to share ideas and learn from others. I also appreciate the structured training programs and the openness of leaders to guide and support us. These factors have helped me build confidence and develop the skills I need to succeed as a Team Lead.
