HGS has the opportunity for you. Our state of the art call center is looking for individuals who bring technical expertise and fix it yourself skills along with a passion for helping others who are not as handy with their hands.
This position supports one of our Fortune 500 customers and their brands, and one of North America’s largest plumbing products companies. This position will have a high volume of communication with internal and external customers in order to help find a resolution to product issues. There will be multiple interactions with the direct customer, manufacturer’s representative agency staff, and other Customer Solutions team members. Communication with external customers will be via phone, email, or through social media channels.
Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
? Respond to telephone calls and emails that require research in the areas of:
o Product – general and technical in nature
o Order status - Pricing, availability and shipping status of an order
o Escalation of requests to correct Account Managers
? Direct communication with customers, Contact Centers, sales and engineering
? Address external customers’ dissatisfaction with care, patience and concern
? Respond positively when faced with fast paced decision making
? Attend Cross functional meetings as needed to support the brand
The position will be measured on criteria such as availability for customer phone calls, service level in responding to emails and product knowledge.
· High school diploma or equivalent
· At least 6 months of previous customer service experience
· Strong computer skills
· Excellent communication skills
· Previous plumbing experience highly beneficial
