Job Description

The Senior Marketing Communications Specialist manages the HGS presence online through reputation management and is the main point of contact for internal and external global programs. These include being the key team member for branding HGS externally as an Employer of Choice, as well as internally, promoting Engagement, Work To Give and developing Health & Wellness/D&I initiatives. Duties include branding and marketing collaterals creation, all online activity including web postings, social media channels, advertising copy and engagement initiatives, online reputation management, and manage project-based events/sponsorships.  The Senior Marketing Communications Specialist must consistently project a professional company image and provide exceptional customer service both internally and externally to all stakeholders. Attention to detail with regard to information, budget control and brand consistency is critical in supporting the HGS Healthcare HR function.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to find stay up  to date with market trends, competitor analysis and relevant media options
  • Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns
  • Assist in marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning etc.)
  • Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns
  • Collaborate with marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts
  • Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, radio, etc.)
  • Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies
  • Manage Reviews/Feedback/Co-ordinate with Senior HR leaders to respond in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Co-ordinate day-to-day content for social media (ER/EE and recruiting efforts)
  • Monitor social media from an online reputation management perspective
  • Manage engagement and online interactions coordinating with HR & Sourcing as necessary
  • Identify performance metrics and improvements for targeting with the Analytics Specialist
  • In liaison with the Director, Marketing, oversee internal and external marketing projects (W@H, Collateral)
  • Manage online Ad campaigns through digital and tradition al media
  • Manage the HGS Connect intranet media content to support HR initiatives.
  • Work alongside the Programmatic Partners to ensure Ad syncing
  • Creative design and manage the distribution of US collateral, promo items and trade fair graphics
  • Continuously seek out new channels and online partnerships for recruiting (Blog/Vlog/Platforms, etc.)
  • Generate geo-specific online postings to increase brand recognition and engagement
  • Liaise with multiple suppliers and organizations on a daily basis
  • Develop creative designs and support the HGS Healthcare Marketing teams
  • Evaluate marketing campaigns and report back analysis/improvements
  • Monitor online competitor activity
  • Liaise with site HR/Recruiting teams on a daily basis – support the HGS Culture Ambassadors

·         Collate site activity and promote/advertise using the appropriate channels (Engage/Employee Engagement/Corporate Social Responsibility/Connect, etc.)

  • Produce innovative and cost-effective collateral in line with brand identity. (Site Collateral and SWAG).
  • Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all departments
  • Represent Geo interests on global calls/projects and activity, being mindful of the prescribed global/local approach

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: (Education, Experience, Skills)

  • Proven experience as marketing specialist or similar role
  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and web development tools (e.g. Dreamweaver) desired
  • Well-organized and detail oriented
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills
  • Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind
  • BSc/BA in marketing, communications or equivalent
  • Degree/Diploma and 5 or more years of experience in Marketing and/or Communications
  • Good organizational and prioritization skills
  • Creativity and the ability to follow design standards
  • Good negotiation skills plus experience in purchasing/managing localized budgets
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office, Adobe PC/Mac operating systems
  • Use of creative packages would be an advantage (Photoshop/InDesign/PowerPoint)
  • A clear understanding of the branding and communication strategies
  • Being able to work with minimal supervision and to manage deadline-based project work
  • Possessing good editorial and writing skills as well as, the ability to work on numerous projects at a time
  • Creative disposition and problem-solving ability
  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects independently and simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities and timelines
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
