Tosan Adeogun is one of the deputy team managers at HGS UK. He has been with us for nearly three years now. He shares with us his experience with HGS.
How has your journey with HGS been so far?
It’s been a great learning experience for me. I understand people better now than when I started. I think what’s truly remarkable is how accommodating HGS can be with individual circumstances. In my role as a deputy team manager, I draw inspiration from this method of working.
What are some qualities you look for in your team members?
Teamwork and collaboration matter a lot in the account we handle. Accountability and honesty are also great add-ons for potential team members. I am also very conscious about leading my team by example, so I carry out my work with the same qualities that I expect from my team.
Tell us of a decision you have made as a leader at HGS.
I make sure issues are addressed as soon as I am made aware of them. The account we work on is a financial services client. We try as much as we can to minimise incidents of error, which could be harmful to the client’s brand. As managers, we are the final filter for quality, and that calls for a proactive approach from our end.
