Tell us about your education and experience.
I graduated from Tremont High School with honors; Illinois State University Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Mass Communications, minor in theatre; Hope International University – MBA in International Development. I have also worked overseas in Japan and South Korea for eight years collectively, teaching business executives from several large companies.
What are some must-have qualities you look for in candidates applying to HGS?
I'm looking someone who not only wants to work in a fun environment and has a lot to offer, but also aims to improve themselves with a solid career and utilize their current skills to their fullest potential.
What is a question you never miss asking?
I always want to know what they know about HGS and how their strengths align with what we do here.
What is your pro tip for candidates?
Be open-minded to learn and to grow. There are a lot of opportunities to do that personally and professionally here at HGS. A close second would be that a candidate needs to be reliable at work.
What do you tell candidates about the culture at HGS?
If you love a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, the people are friendly, and the leaders develop you into better professionals, then HGS is the place for you. Everyone is from diverse backgrounds, which makes working here a lot more exciting as all of that experience molds a fun, dynamic work environment.
